H&M introduces Back to School Kidswear collection

Swedish fashion giant H&M has unveiled a 'Back to School' collection for its H&M Kids line.

Designed for kids up to 14 years old, the collection features relaxed silhouettes with romantic boho touches and soft denim, blending retro varsity sport elements with workwear influences. All of the pieces come in a neutral color palette of denim blues, with pops of off-black, cream, browns, and soft pinks while details like floral print, embroidery, patch pockets, simple ruffles and waffle or rib textures lend charm and a stylish edge.

Key pieces include jeans with flared or barrel shaped wide legs, denim shirts, pointelle or rib knit sets, a quilted denim jacket, fleece crewnecks and workwear-inspired overshirts while accessories comprise of ballerina flats, retro trainers, oversized hair bows and bag charms.

'Back to School is always a special time of the year and this season, we wanted a collection that put denim centre stage. New fits in a variation of the season's washes and looks have a laidback feel. Playful details and contrast colors bring fun and vibrant energy,' Sofia Lofstedt, Head of Kidswear Design at H&M said in a press release.
