Tom Ford debuts Black Orchid Reserve Fragrance with Campaign Starring Tilda Swinton

American luxury fashion and beauty brand Tom Ford has launched its latest fragrance, Black Orchid Reserve with a campaign starring Academy Award-winning actress Tilda Swinton.

Designed by Tom Ford creative director Haider Ackermann and lensed by Inez and Vinoodh, the campaign is a cinematic portrait of a woman who is as rare as the Black Orchid and awakens the world around her through gaze and gesture, stillness and strength.

Transformation, the blurring of boundaries and the celebration of magical properties have always drawn me close; Black Orchid Reserve is precisely such an enchantment,' Swinton said in a press release.

Black Orchid Reserve is a new iteration of the iconic Black Orchid fragrance, first introduced in 2006 and marks a bold evolution for Tom Ford. The fragrance introduces the Ghost Orchid - a phantom-like flower born of the quest for perfection that is revered as one of the most elusive in the world. Its decadent scent is captured using innovative headspace technology at the moment of its bloom.

The result is a scent with Top Notes of Bergamot, Truffle, Middle Notes of Black Orchid, Ylang-Ylang, and Base Notes of Dark Chocolate, Tonka Bean, Patchouli, Vanilla. Additional notes such as roasted tonka and black truffle, patchouli and amber deepen it's opulent, gourmand character, while adding a richer floral dimension.
