Gucci unveils new Lido Summer Collection

Italian label Gucci has unveiled its 2025 Lido Collection of clothing and accessories for designed for summer escapes.

Named after the historic beach clubs that dot Italy's coastlines, the collection is versatile as it's made to suit both beachside relaxation and city strolls. Comprising of an array of resort wear, swimwear, and breezy outfits, it is infused with fluid silhouettes, summery textures, and a vibrant palette of colors and fabrics that evoke feelings of lightness and leisure.

Key pieces include reimagined versions of Gucci's iconic handbags such as the Jackie 1961 and GG Marmont in luminous hues and warm-weather textures, silk Flora-printed scarves and oversized sunglasses, maritime-inspired oversized shirts with anchor motifs and GG monogram denim, suede Gigi loafers, slides, and Gucci Luce and Moon Side bags, adorned with colorful GG canvas and neon accents.

The collection is brought to life with a Photographic campaign by Jim Goldberg and a Video by Rubberband (Jason Sondock & Simon Davis) that captures the essence of an Italian summer. Starring Daisy Edgar-Jones, Aliocha Schneider, and David Jonsson, the curated cast are captured in candid sunlit moments of a seaside holiday as they channel the relaxed spirit of the season wearing pieces from the new collection.
